Your Cannabis Oil Glossary

Broad Spectrum

Broad-spectrum products fall in the middle of the scale of full-spectrum and isolate products. They contain terpenes and other cannabinoids but no THC. Broad-spectrum CBD products are an excellent option for people who want the Entourage Effect without exposure to THC.

Capsule

Capsules refer to gel pills that contain Cannabis Oil.

CBD

Starting with the basics, CBD is the shortened form of the word Cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a compound found in the Sativa plant found to have several medicinal properties.

Certificate Of Analysis

Every trustworthy CBD supplier has a Certificate Of Analysis. It’s a document from an accredited laboratory that verifies the number of cannabinoids in their products. This is for both your and the company’s benefit, as it serves as a form of quality control.

Cannabinoid

The term cannabinoid refers to the chemical compounds that interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system receptors. The most famous cannabinoids are THC and CBD. They are also the two most concentrated cannabinoids in that order.

Edible

Edibles are foods infused with marijuana/cannabis oil. They are known for taking longer to take effect but being more potent.

Entourage Effect

The entourage effect occurs when you get the benefits of all the Cannabinoids found in hemp. It happens when you take full-spectrum hemp products.

Farm Bill

The United States Congress passed the Agriculture Improvement Act, known as the Farm Bill, in 2028. It legalized the purchase of CBD products in all 50 States. However, all products must contain less than .3% THC.

Full Spectrum

Full Spectrum CBD products contain all the terpenes, cannabinoids, flavonoids, and fatty acids that hemp possesses. When you take a full spectrum CBD product, you experience the Entourage effect.

Isolate CBD

Isolate CBD products only contain CBD. All other cannabinoids are revived from the product, leaving pure CBD powder behind. You can’t experience the Entourage Effect with these products.
