You are here because you want to know if CBD Treatment would be a good fit for you and your situation. Well, let me tell you if you are looking for medical marijuana then CBD is probably not the treatment that you’re looking for. Yes, Cbd does come from the cannabis plant however it is one of over 60 different chemical compounds found in the Cannabis plant. Cbd is actually taken from the hemp plant.
Let’s Take a Closer Look at This
What is the difference between Hemp and Marijuana? Aren’t they both Cannabis plants? The answer is well……yes and no, they both belong to the Cannabis family of plants. The difference is marijuana gets you high, Hemp does NOT get you high!
Why does one get you high and the other doesn’t?
Hemp and Marijuana differ in their percentages of THC, which is the part of the plant that gets you high. For Hemp to considered Hemp, it must contain less than 3% THC. If the plant contains more than that, well you have a marijuana plant. The current goal for hemp cultivators is to grow a plant that has no THC and higher and higher CBD levels.
How Do I Know Which One is Right for Me?
There are a few questions that I initially ask people who are interested in the healing power of Cannabis.
The very first question that I always ask is Have you ever smoked pot before?
Some people still look at me so strangely like, how dare you ask me that! Some people are still a bit shy about talking about it, but come on people just be honest. Now if they tell me no then I might tell them to try CBD first because this type of treatment does not get you high but still contains the anti-inflammatory properties that may or may not benefit their condition. If you have never smoked pot in your lifetime then Cannabinoid treatment might be just what the doctor ordered and you DO NOT need a doctor’s referral. It is legal to use and ship in the United States. This is incredible, making it available to everyone in the United States to try for themselves.

Have You Ever Smoked Weed Man?
If You Currently Treat With Cannabis
Now if their answer is yes, then my next question would be: How often do you smoke pot?
CBD might not be right for you if you are currently treating with Medical Marijuana. There is evidence of CBD counteracting the effects of THC. So if this is the case you are probably treating yourself correctly. Good Job! However, if you have smoked a few times maybe when you were a young reckless teenager in college then I would say that CBD might be a really great treatment for you to try out.
If You Have Never Even Smoked Pot
Even if you tried smoking marijuana in College but don’t currently smoke, then you fall into this category. Now if your answer no, You have never smoked pot then I very well might tell you to GO FOR IT!
Try CBD first because this type of treatment does not get you high but still contains the anti-inflammatory properties that may or may not benefit their condition. If you have never smoked pot in your lifetime then Cannabinoid treatment might be just what the doctor ordered and you DO NOT need a doctor’s referral.
