Now I’m not going to sit here and explain what chronic pain is. I’m certain that if you indeed have it, then you know what it is. There is no mistaking it. I would like to address how you might be able to get some relief from your pain. That is far more interesting and the reason you are here.
I do not in any way want to underestimate your individual pain. It’s yours and it’s unique to you. Is not like anyone else’s pain. It is not like my pain or anybody else’s. It’s your pain! You might hurt in a similar place but pain affects us all very differently, and that is the topic of this post.
So let’s talk about your pain
Maybe you have been taking pain pills or a sleep aid for a while and you would like some assistance getting off of them. Maybe you’ve been prescribed something you don’t want to take. Either way, you are not alone. There are millions of people out there, just like you. Looking for an alternative.
Are we supposed to trust the doctors?
Well, I guess I’m not going to say that we don’t need them. Sometimes we have to trust that the doctor knows best and do what they tell us to do. But that doesn’t mean that we have to accept everything they say. It’s very important that we be proactive about what we are putting into our bodies. That includes food as well as medication.
My husband recently had to visit the doctor for an old shoulder injury that he has neglected for many years. There is something very important about my husband medical history. He is a heart attack survivor. My husband has to take some medication for the rest of his life that is a fact of life for him now. This also means that the doctor needs to take his heart condition into consideration whenever they prescribe any medication to him. They did not. He came home with two new prescriptions, one for VICODIN and one for an anti-inflammatory. Well, I could go off on a tangent about the Vicodin, but let’s just say I was less than impressed but the anti-inflammatory???? WTF? People with heart disease have a higher risk of having another heart attack even if they take an Ibuprofen! I even had to do research on the drug prove to him that his doctor did, in fact, prescribe him something that could hurt him. This is a fact of life for my husband. Tylenol is as strong as it gets for him. So we have to approach this differently for him.
Inflammation can be controlled without medication!
We do the best we can to eat right, but unfortunately, we are human and sometimes we eat things that cause inflammation. If you can eliminate the things in your diet that cause inflammation then that is best and it’s great. In today’s society, it can be a challenge and very expensive to eat right.
Try a Combination
Do the best you can to eat right and that will help tremendously however if you combine eating right with a CBD treatment you may feel like you’ve discovered a miracle and you won’t be hurting your stomach, liver or kidneys like some medications can.
Inflammation is responsible for most medical conditions that cause pain. CBD or Cannabidiol might possibly be able to provide relief for you or someone you love. Even our four-legged friends can benefit from CBD. Now I can’t tell you for sure if Cannabinoid treatment is the right one for you and your situation, but I can tell you that it will not hurt you in any way. CBD has no psychoactive ingredients that could possibly cause a negative effect. You cannot overdose on this treatment. It is totally legal in the USA and most of the world. So if you’re on the fence about trying CBD for yourself, I say go for it and give it try! Make sure to read my posts on how to get started using Cannabis treatments.
